Svanstul cabin and nature area.
For the population of Skien and its surroundings, Svanstul is the prime destination for excursions in untouched nature – both in summer and winter.
The Svanstul area is located in Norway’s largest voluntarily protected nature reserve, which was officially opened in June 2010. The area is a popular recreational destination for the municipalities in Grenland all year round. With a cabin in Svanstul, you gain access to a fantastic nature in a paradise-like adventure landscape.
Its location at 600 – 800 meters above sea level provides both snow-sure winters and a great sense of spaciousness. Here, there are 50 kilometers of groomed trails when there is snow. For the rest of the year, there are almost limitless hiking opportunities in the surrounding terrain.
Svanstul is the place for cozy cabin life, long walks, berry picking, great ski trips, as well as bike rides on miles of gravel roads, all in beautiful Norwegian nature.
